CHHA License Renewal

Service Description

Must hold an active CHHA certification in New Jersey Please note: In order for your renewal to process, you will need to be currently employed as a CHHA. Please bring a copy of your renewal letter. This service is for individuals who are looking to renew their CHHA license before it reaches its expiration. Our staff will help assist you with the application process from start to finish. Renewal notices are mailed to you by the NJ Board of Nursing approximately 60 days in advance of the renewal period. You should expect to receive your renewal notice in October of odd years. You should plan to make an appointment with us to renew your certificate and pay the renewal fee as soon as you receive your renewal notice in the mail, no later than November 30 of those odd years. Note: There is a separate renewal fee due to the Board of Nursing required to renew your HHA certificate in the amount of $30. There is a late renewal period from December 1 - December 31, of odd years. If you renew during the late period, the renewal fee to the Board of Nursing will increase to $40.
